Oregon Getaway
Escaped Vancouver’s heat of summer in September for some coastal fog and cooler temperatures in Northern Oregon. Camped at Nehalem Bay State Park which has a great beach beyond the dunes and is only ten minutes by bike to the quaint seaside town of Manzanita. We relaxed, read, enjoyed a little wine, and even went out for a gourmet dinner in Cannon Beach a half hour up the road from Manzanita. If you’re in need of a sophisticated, world-class meal, stop in at Newmans at 988. Try the lobster ravioli, it’s amazing.
